About Photographer Sara Porter
Being a wedding and portrait photographer, I get to photograph people during the best times in their lives. I’ve been passionate about photography from an early age, although admittedly the images of people’s feet may not have the wow factor that they used to have when I was 9 (although I still love to photograph those fabulous wedding shoes!). I have a love of the quirky and fun and work with minimum fuss, creating high quality, stylish images. As well as photographing weddings and portraits I cover a very mixed portfolio including PR and marketing images, which helps to keep my wedding and portrait ideas fresh. A number of couples choose us due to our skill with urban weddings, city centre weddings I see as great opportunities for original and unique images as a result of the ever changing backdrops that cities provide. Whatever the location, you can be sure of amazing images whilst we maintain our reputation for not intruding on your wedding day.
Based in Merseyside, we are ideally located to cover weddings across the North West and across the UK. We’ve photographed weddings from the south coast and as far north as Scotland, so if you are worried that your location might be too far for us, that’s never a problem.

I know at this point the majority of wedding photographers will have filled you in about their lives, in summary mine is as follows – I work a lot (which is great as I love what I do), we have two big, shaggy dogs (they are usually covered in sand as we live near a beach, you can see them on instagram on @saraporterphoto from time to time), I vacuum a lot (otherwise our house would be an indoor beach as a result of the sand), I don’t cook (well I do, but it’s really, really not good, luckily I’m married to a man who does cook – just need to work on his vacuuming skills……). If you need to know anymore – just ask!
